Do you feel alone sometimes in “fighting the good fight”?
Like you’re the only one in your group of friends, family that sees and cares about what is really going on in the world?
Do you long to have a community of colleagues, compatriots, co-conspirators that are each doing their own thing, but guided by the same vision, values + principles?
I am with ya.
I’ve been confluxed (confused + perplexed) about how to make a difference since as long as I can remember, for two main reasons, number one, because traditional activism doesn’t seem like a lot of fun, and two, I don’t want to perpetuate the negativity, anger, rage and cynicism that often comes along with it.
But I want to make a difference. So. Badly.
So why don’t we get together and see what we can do about it?
Join the FB group, and/or plan to attend our monthly gathering….
…of intelligent, conscious people, eager to make a difference + to do things that matter in the world in a whole new way…that is fun, empowering, inspiring, dynamic, collaborative + grounded.
…who don’t take themselves so so seriously but understand the importance of living their spiritual principles in everyday life with their everyday acts.
…it’ll be an ongoing online community of people that is punctuated by a monthly live event::
A gathering (usually in Toronto, Canada) where there will be lecture, Q+A around a monthly theme, and then open play, connection, collaboration + exchange.
…Livestream feed will be coming soon. In the meantime, an audio of the lecture will be posted on the FB group.
Why?
Synergy. We can get more done together, than apart.
Because the very thought of this makes me want to dance, hum, sing (+ sweat..a little..in the good way…)
And because I am eager + curious to find the balance between activist-doing and mystic-being, and what would happen if we brought all kinds of people with different skill sets from different walks of life together, knowing that they are living centred around the same values, principles + missions.
What now?
1. Our Free kick off event will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2013. Come on out! Bring a friend + I’ll look forward to meeting you there!

Certain events challenge us to decide how we want to see the world.
I urge you to choose love.
Because at our deepest we are indeed, all one—so when a tragedy like this unfolds, it is not a symptom of a sick individual, it reveals to us a cancer of our entire society.
And if we choose to simply excise it, call it an exception and deem it an anomaly, we risk not only recurrence at another time, in another location, but we miss the opportunity to truly heal a wound, and we forego the challenge to become more whole, as a species.
It takes effort to expand our hearts, our minds—even moreso in the face of immeasurable loss, pain, sadness.
I know. I am there.
Yet it is up to all of us—as the event is indeed asking all of us who are touched by it—to choose how to respond to it, and therefore decide how deeply it will effect us.
Will it will be confronted by fear, separation, accusations. Yet again.
Or could it be enough—at this time, in this place, at this space—to activate us instead to choose love, compassion, personal culpability for what our own thoughts, words and actions towards others—and ourselves—truly yield.
To bring us back a little closer to wholeness…to healing.
I urge you to choose love.

Truth bombs extracted from Oprah’s Super Toronto LifeClass—followed by a few action twists (from yours truly…) Here we go!
1. Problems only exist in contracted awareness—that is, when you have a narrow view. The more you expand your perspective, the easier it is to find your solution. (inspired by Deepak)
Action: Try it on. During our Group Healing sessions, I’ll often suggest that you consider your issue from a new and different angle—which can often offer a bright new insight on things. But I’m also going to invite you to step back from the problem and look at it from a ‘few paces back’ and see it from further away to see if you see anything new in the picture that you didn’t notice before…use your wide angle lens on it. Alternately apply your telephoto lens, to move in for an extra close-close up in case there’s some key detail that you’ve missed…
2. Tell the truth, to yourself, about yourself. (Iyanla)
Action: Get clear on your intentions about What you do, How you do it and Why you do it and see what is up; lurking underneath and driving your particular pattern of behaviour that you are trying to shake.
3. Instead of wishing for no problems, be ready for them because the more you take the opportunity to find your own solutions, the more you find peace and can share that solution with others. (inspired by the Bishop)
Action: Next time you lament your life, problems, issues etc…recognize that this is how life gives you opportunity to reveal for yourself, the fullest expression of your potential here—that is a gift equally for yourself, for humanity, and for the planet.
4. We all have stories. You have to decide. Decide if they are true and useful for you. (inspired byTony Robbins)
Action: Letting go is only possible when you realize that something is now hurting you more that it helps you. When a feeling of safety turns into a sensation of a straitjacket—it’s a sign that something needs to change. Figure out what that is for you. (Chung)
5. Final amazement: OWinfrey somehow managed to make a room full of 8500 people feel like her living room. The ability to cultivate that degree of warmth and intimacy is rare and kind. It demonstrated to me, what Deepak had said about the best way to teach children—but that I feel (naturally) applies to being with everyone—to give attention (deep listening), appreciation (notice the good things), and affection (show them that you care). (…because really, we’re all kids inside anyway…)
Action: Cultivate your ability to do, 1, 2, or all 3 or these things everyday when with others. Be attentive. Be appreciative. Be affectionate.
Notice things. Go forth. Take Action. Change it up. And Make Things Happen.

Personal Evolution + Planetary Revolution
When you allow your body to heal itself, it’s a powerful step towards personal evolution. But when we gather together in focused meditation, with the intention of healing yourself and the planet? That’s a revolution.
Join us for a powerful series of monthly sessions, or drop-in when you can. Live in Toronto, Canada, or via Livestream channel from anywhere in the world (see details below).

This is the fantastic and collaborative way (and no deep disclosures necessary!…promise.) to get a personally guided experience of healing with my medicinal-meets-meaningful perspective for a fraction of the cost of a 1-on-1 session with me—bonus is getting shared mojo from a group of keen and conscious individuals with a series of guided meditations for group healing, and ample space for curiosity, shared acumen and Q&A.
We’ll settle in. We’ll set our intention. Address both light + shadow sides with realism + respect. And together, we’ll question our long-standing biases + knee-jerk reactions, cultivate greater sensitivity, and send powerful forcefields (yeah, I said forcefields) of healing energy, into the world.
And just so you know…the feedback and results have been electrifying; it’s surprised even me. What started out as ‘just a hunch’ over a year ago has become something that has truly exceeded my expectations and set off integration, connection and empowerment that I never could have expected. Simple. Profound. Personal. And, gives back. Just the way I like it. Check out a few snippets of buzz here (and catch more on the site…):
…I was in complete awe of our powerful collective experience. The synergies of the group experience allowed me to go deeper into surrender and connection with all that is in an easy way, guided by you and your loving wisdom. -Nancy Mills
…2 hours was perfect time. Style was simple yet profound. Pace was just perfect. Price was a bargain. I’d love to have the meditation available for purchase so we can do on our own…I felt lighter and more relaxed after the session. – KC
…I loved it…I wouldn’t change a thing. I felt very spacey the last few days, but not in a bad way. I feel a big change on the horizon…I feel a lightness, and any fears that come up I am able to just let them go. (for a change…). I would (and have) told quite a few people about this and I would definitely attend the next ones! – JG
…I felt my stones dissolve…my lesions clear…I felt something clear and move out from my lymph nodes… -GT, LJ, and ML
…I have attended three of your group healing sessions, and each of them left me with new insight to myself. They also left me feeling very connected to the others present. The power of the collected group becomes palpable. When you lead us through the opening of our heart energy the room is awash with ‘aha’ moments…I am deeply thankful for this opportunity each time. – LS
Rally your people. Spread the word. And I’ll see you there.
Register for this now and know that 10% of all proceeds (actually, of all my events) are donated to charity. This one is dedicated to Women for Women.

This practice has been my passion and my life for the last decade…and well, it’s time to announce some exciting changes around here.
In January 2012 I will be launching a series of Clinic Workshop Sessions that will help you learn how to listen and heed messages from your own body (and soul), and will also be offering a Practitioner’s Mentoring Circle to support fellow healers. I am restructuring my practice and will still be offering a limited number of Private Healing Sessions but will be focusing more on deep, transformative work (rather than on general practice), and on doing more group healing work. I am making this shift so that you can get the best out of me, and so I can spend more time writing, speaking and teaching.
Please explore the new offerings, by clicking on the following links:
1. Clinic Workshop Sessions
2. Practitioner’s Mentoring Circle
3. Private Sessions with Dr. Chung
I am feeling exhilarated and recharged by these upcoming changes, and look forward to continue, to grow, learn and share together.
You are welcome to e-mail Melanie at info@drdianechung.com with your questions and comments. I will be aware of all correspondence and will respond as I am able.
A note to all of you who live outside of the Toronto area, to look out! Online programs should be available in the Fall of 2012.
Please note that the absolute best way to get the very latest practice news and to stay in touch is to join our mailing list right here on the site (do ya see that big orange box in the upper right corner? Yes!)
With warmth and blessings for a fantastic 2012,
Diane
In this life, we cannot do great things.
We can only do small things with great love.
